Before Dreams, there was LittleBigPlanet. The simulation of levels seems to pale in comparison to the newborn in Media Molecule, but can, in any case, boast an incredibly valid and powerful set of tools. To prove it, as if it were still needed, he once again thought of a creator known in the community as ClapTrap9.
The fire test of every respectable level editor is usually represented by the 1: 1 reproduction of a perfectly functioning Super Mario level. ClapTrap9 is gone and, thanks to LittleBigPlanet 3, has managed to recreate Super Mario Maker, which is, in turn, an editor with which to shape the games of the Italian plumber. Obviously, he does not have all the tools of the Nintendo title, but the result is equally fascinating, as you can see for yourself in the video attached at the beginning of the news. Let us know what you think in the comments!
We take this opportunity to remind you that Super Mario Maker 2 will be launched on Nintendo Switch during the month of June. Dreams of Media Molecule, spiritual heir (incredibly more powerful) of the LittleBigPlanet series, will debut in Early Access in a few days, next April 16th!
