Over the weekend a rumor spread (also supported by Kotaku) that would like the next chapter of Assassin’s Creed set in the world of Norse mythology, thus following the path traced by God of War.
Assassin’s Creed Kingdom (code name of the project) should come out in 2020 bringing players to explore the Nordic territories for the first time in the history of the series. The rumor has not gone unnoticed and has also come to the attention of Cory Barlog of Sony Santa Monica … The father of God of War for PS4 initially commented with a thoughtful emoticon and then launched a playful appeal: ” I smell crossover ? “, followed by a smiley emoticon.
The rumor seems to be much more than a rumor: “A few months before this teaser emerged, Kotaku learned from two independent sources close to the title that Assassin’s Creed 2020, known as the Kingdom code, will actually present the Vikings. We don’t know much about the game, but after the phenomenal Odyssey, we are eager to see what lies ahead”, said Jason Schreirer of Kotaku.
At the moment Ubisoft has not yet removed the veils for the project, to find out more we refer you to our video of Assassin’s Creed Kingdom dedicated to the analysis of the latest rumors about the game.
