Behind the recent rumors regarding the new chapter of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, the development by Insomniac Games of an unpublished episode of the Ratchet & Clank series could be hidden.
In fact, during the last episode of the Knockback podcast, the always informed Colin Moriarty stated that “you haven’t seen the last Ratchet & Clank for PS4 yet”.
The statements made by the co-founder of the Kinda Funny project merely reconnect to the words spoken by Moriarty himself a few weeks ago to inform PlayStation 4 users that Sony, based on information gathered from its anonymous sources. Would have already reached an agreement with a mysterious “second party” development house (ie, outside the SIE subsidiary galaxy but still linked to the PlayStation universe) to bring another tremendous exclusive console to PS4 before the advent of the next-gen represented by PS5 and Xbox Scarlett (but also from Google Stadia).
The last chapter of the iconic Insomniac Games platform series, the Ratchet & Clank reboot, was released exclusively on PS4 in April 2016 and was proposed by Sony in the PS Plus Instant Game Collection for the entire duration of the month of March of last year together with Bloodborne. Also the souls-like of From Software, curiously, is at the center of a series of rumors that would like the Japanese authorities already working on a sequel to be launched at the turn of the end of this generation and the beginning of the next, strictly exclusive to PS4 or PS5.
