Borderlands Game of the Year Edition has some connectivity problems, especially with regards to co-op, with difficulty for players to get into the game and fairly frequent disconnections that inevitably end up impacting game stability.
Gearbox Software is aware of these problems and is analyzing community feedback with the aim of resolving the situation as soon as possible, soon the studio will publish a new update for Borderlands GOTY Edition, to apologize for the inconvenience the team has decided to give away five Golden Keys to all players, obtainable by redeeming the following code, valid for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions: WJCBB-5RRJK-9B3RJ-6XT3T-CBZBF.
The Borderlands reissue was launched last April 3 on all the platforms mentioned, but the re-edition created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the game was, however, warmly welcomed by the public and critics (as you can read in the review of Borderlands Game of the Year Edition), due to a technical sector that has been remastered but not always up to expectations and aged gameplay that is not really very good.
BL:GOTY UPDATE – We're currently testing new fixes to address the Borderlands: Game of the Year connectivity issues. While we continue to work on this, we’d like to offer the community some Gold Keys as thanks for your patience so far.
