Assetto Corsa Competizione, the new video game by Kunos Simulations and 505 Games officially licensed by the Blancpain GT Series, the international automobile competition organized by SRO Motorsports Group, will be released from the early access mode on Steam on May 29th.
The date of the 1.0 release of Assetto Corsa Competizione was announced by Kunos Simulations and 505 Games on the occasion of the press event organized today at the Autodromo di Monza, on the eve of the first stage of the official SRO E-Sport GT Series: the new e-sports initiative born from the partnership between Kunos Simulazione and SRO, with the support of Pirelli and AK Informatica. Characterized by an extraordinary simulation level, Assetto Corsa Competizione will allow players to experience the true atmosphere of this prestigious automobile championship and will include all the drivers, teams, cars and official circuits, perfectly reproduced with the highest level of detail possible.
Thanks to the power of the Unreal Engine 4, Assetto Corsa Competizione will benefit from a graphics quality able to mark a new standard of realism and immersion in the world of racing titles, the presence of variable weather conditions and the opportunity to run also at night they will influence the challenge level and the competition strategies. Virtual pilots will be able to experience the same emotions experienced by the official Blancpain GT Series drivers at the wheel of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and many other prestigious brands, whose cars are reproduced in the game with painstaking care.
The LaserScan technology ensures absolute fidelity of reproduction of the tracks present in the simulation, fidelity appreciated also by the real pilots of the Blancpain GT Series who actively participated in the development process and who train for the races with Assetto Corsa Competizione. “We are well aware of the advantages of the Steam Advance Access program and with Assetto Corsa Competizione we have further improved interaction with the community during this essential phase also thanks to a predefined release schedule which allowed both developers and early adopters to focus on from time to time on specific content and features. This synergy has allowed us to make those changes and improvements during construction that, instead of following the release of the 1.0 version of May, will be present at the launch to guarantee an even better driving and gaming experience than the premises. The gallery of images that we propose together with this announcement was not created by our studio, but was produced directly by the players,“.
Marco Massarutto, Co-founder and Brand & Product Manager of Kunos Simulations commented. ” The launch of version 1.0 will be a very important stage but not the epilogue of Assetto Corsa Competizione; there will be several surprises that will come later and that will guarantee the longevity that such a sophisticated simulation and a community so passionate deserve to have. “
