In the last hours, a message from Daanish Syed, designer and animator appeared at Twitter on Netherrealm Studios, which revealed a very interesting detail about the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11.
According to the tweet in question, mysteriously removed a few hours later, the new fighting game at Ed Boon’s and associates’ meetings will need an internet connection to allow the user to enjoy all the features. Among the features not available online there seems to be the Kripta, the unlocking of trophies/goals, the Torre del Tempo and the possibility of acquiring new equipment for the wrestlers. At the moment there is no official confirmation from the developers, but there is little doubt that if this news were true many would turn up their noses. The most worried users are especially that Switch, since with such a mechanic it would be almost useless to carry the game around without the possibility of hooking up to a Wi-Fi network.
Waiting for more precise information about the issue, we remind you that Mortal Kombat 11 will arrive on the shelves of all stores starting next April 23 in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch versions. Did you know that Emperor Shao Kahn will be the next protagonist of Kombat Kast? It also seems that the game includes microtransactions, which however will be exclusively aesthetic and can be avoided simply by playing.
