The latest Rainbow Six Siege patch, version 1.3 concerning Year 4, is online both on PC and on consoles and has made some changes required loudly by users, including changes especially for Lion.
As already mentioned by Ubisoft, Lion’s rework was designed to “reduce the oppressive feeling of his abilities, while maintaining his central role”. His ability activation alert has been reduced from 3 to 1.5 seconds and scanning from 4 to 2 seconds. Now he also has three charges instead of two and the cooldown of his ability has been reduced from 27 to 15 seconds. Finally, Virgil’s ERC-7 cloak now renders him immune to his Scan.
Also, Capitao has undergone some changes: the damage of its darts has been reduced from 19 to 12, the area of effect has been increased and it now takes 2 seconds to reach its maximum size. According to the software house, it should focus on the player’s abilities rather than mere luck.
Other changes will also include Blitz, Kaid, Maestro, and Nomad. To see the complete list of changes made by the new update, you can take a look at the official Ubisoft patches.
