E3 2019

E3 is one of the favorite times of the year for fans. We Italians often have to stay up late if we want to follow live conferences, but the excitement that pervades the whole evening is more than enough reward. The Los Angeles festival is one of the favorite moments also for developers, to make big announcements to the whole world. Of course, E3 2019 seems less dense in content, given that Sony has already confirmed its defection, while Electronic Arts will dedicate itself to a live stream show for three consecutive days before the actual event begins.

This does not mean that E3 2019 should be ignored: in fact, we already know what we will be able to see during the conferences. To start, we are sure that CD Projekt RED will allow us to return to Night City with Cyberpunk 2077 (of which the release date “emerged”, according to a recent rumor ). Furthermore, there will be a chance to see DOOM Eternal by id Sofware, one of the first games confirmed also for Google Stadia : is it possible that the Mountain View giant uses the event to show off?

We will be able to see once again Dying Light 2 which seems to want to heavily expand the structure of the first chapter, with the introduction of factions and increasing the impact of our choices on the game world, without putting aside the beloved zombies and the parkout, clearly. Even Halo Infinite will be part of the party: 343 Industries is very confident about what it is creating. On the FPS theme, we also have Borderlands 3:: the new chapter of the Gearbox series has been talked about in recent weeks, having become the temporal exclusive on PC for Epic Games Store.

Furthermore, there will also be space for The RiftBreaker and Scavengers. Romero Games, in collaboration with Paradox Interactive, is working on a strategy game based on a new IP that will be shown at E3 2019 (the title has not been announced yet). Beyond Good and Evil 2, the sequel to Ubisoft’s much-loved game will also be one of ours.

Going beyond confirmations, there are countless rumors and speculations about what else we can see at the June event. Let’s talk about titles like:

  • Afterparty,
  • Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey,
  • Control,
  • Darkborn,
  • The Elder Scools Blades,
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses,
  • Gears 5,,
  • Gears Pop !,
  • Gears Tactics,
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps,
