The Division 2 Was The Best-Selling Game In March In The US, Switch Exceeds PS4 And Xbox


The Division 2 was the best-selling video game in March 2019 in North America, according to data released by the NPD group, with Sekiro Shadows Die Twice in second place. Below is the complete ranking.

The Division 2 recorded the sixth best launch ever for a Ubisoft game in the United States and is now the second best-selling title of 2019. Sekiro instead places itself in second place and becomes the eighth most sold video game of the year in North America, registering the second best launch for FromSoftware after Dark Souls III, released in 2016.

On the hardware front, Nintendo Switch records sales higher than those of PS4 and Xbox One not only in March but throughout the first quarter of 2019, both in terms of units sold and in terms of earnings. The positive trend of the Nintendo platform continues, which today should be close to 40 million pieces sold since March 2017.
