Days Gone debuts at the top of the English charts, beating Mortal Kombat 11. Sony Bend’s game has recorded 27% lower sales compared to the exclusive PS4 in April 2018 (God of War), however, it is a very good performance considering that in this case, we are talking about a new IP.
Mortal Kombat 11 debuts in second place, with sales down 43.6% compared to those of Mortal Kombat X in 2015 (digital sales are not included), but the numbers are higher than those generated by Injustice 2 (another NetherRealm title) Studios) in 2017:
- Days Gone
- Mortal Kombat 11
- FIFA 19
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Sekiro Shadows Die Twice
- Forza Horizon 4
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- World War Z
Mortal Kombat 11 sold 71% of physical copies on PlayStation 4, GFK also reported a dramatic drop for World War Z, with sales down 70% in the second week. Red Dead Redemption 2 grows by 4% while Forza Horizon 4 returns in Top 10 thanks to the numerous promotions of retailers. Metro Exodus is in the Top 40 at number 14 with sales up 130% in the last week.
