At PAX East 2019, Gearbox announced a large number of new features for the Borderlands series, including the official announcement of the third chapter.
However, despite the rumors spread in the days prior to the event, a landing of the famous Nintendo Switch saga was not formalized. This eventuality, however, would seem to be pleasing to the software house: its President and CEO have in fact recently expressed a positive opinion on this. Through his official Twitter account, Randy Pitchford has indeed responded to a user who asked if there were possibilities to see Borderlands arrive on the hybrid console. As you can verify in twitter at the bottom, Pitchford replied that he would love to see it happen. For now no official announcement, but, at least, it seems that there may be a glimmer of hope for the future.
Meanwhile, for users of the Great N, Gearbox announced Bulletstorm for Nintendo Switch, which will land on the console in the ” Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition ” version. We also take this opportunity to remind you that during May 1, Gearbox Software is planning to reveal the Borderlands 3 gameplay.
I would love to see that happen.
