Mortal Kombat 11, the new chapter in the fighting series developed by NetherRealm Studios, has been on the market for a few days, collecting the favor of specialized critics and fanbases.
Despite having generally been convinced on the gameplay and the various game modes, the title has left more than one player with a bitter taste due to the small number of rewards obtainable and the excessive difficulty of the challenges proposed in the Towers of Time : all this had led to a massive grinding that until today has negatively influenced the overall experience.
Through an official post published on Reddit, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed that the new Mortal Kombat 11 patch is immediately available for download on PlayStation 4, and will arrive over the next few hours on other platforms. The update regulates the game’s progression system: you can, therefore, expect more rewards (including in-game currency and hearts) and a reduced AI difficulty during the Towers of Time challenges. For more information on the update, you can consult the changelog that you find linked to the bottom of the news.
Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. A new mod made it possible to bring the interlude scenes of the PC game to 60fps. For more information on the fighting game, please refer to our Review of Mortal Kombat 11.
