After a long wait dictated by the calendar carefully followed by Sony to announce the new Instant Game Collection monthly titles, the Japanese technology giant unveils the video games that can be downloaded for free by subscribers to PlayStation Plus during the month of May.
Beginning on Tuesday 7 May, as anticipated by a leak from Russia, all subscribers to the PlayStation service will be able to flesh out their digital game library with the cute culinary theme party game Overcooked and the evocative first-person adventure What Remains of Edith Finch.
The landing in the Instant Game Collection of the new free games of May, of course, will coincide with the conclusion of the promotion on the PS Plus titles in April which sees the excellent soulslike action with a sci-fi setting The Surge and the brutal singleplayer and multiplayer action Conan Exiles.
We, therefore, advise all PS Plus subscribers to enter these two games as soon as possible into the digital catalog of their PS4 account before the titles in question are re-proposed at their usual price on PSN starting Tuesday afternoon May 7th.
What do you think of this month’s PS Plus games? Before hearing your opinion on the matter, we would like to remind you that all-Japan Discounts and a DLC promotion are available on PlayStation Store with lots of Discounts on Additional Content for PS4 titles like The Sims 4.
