Export is increasingly synonymous with youth culture. It often goes hand in hand with what we continue undeterred to define “street” culture, coupled with new musical trends and redefines the canons of consumption among the younger generations.
We have already seen many organizations collaborate with well-known brands to create dedicated lines. Shoes, clothes, energy drinks, you name it. Now the largest sportswear chain in the world makes its triumphal entry into the world of competitive gaming.
Foot Locker, in fact, enters with a leg (and insole) stretched in the export announcing a collaboration with Champion Athleticwear for the production and sale of a new line of clothing dedicated to five export organizations.
The clothing line will be sold not only in digital stores but also in traditional stores. I wonder if it will also arrive in our own Foot Lockers. The new clothing line includes OpTic Gaming, Dignitas, Counter Logic, Spacestation Gaming, and Renegades sweaters, sweatshirts and shirts. Of these teams, OpTic Gaming, Dignitas and Renegades had already announced clothing contracts with Champion.
Foot Locker launched the new line today in selected online stores of various brands, including Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Eastbay, and Footaction. ” Foot Locker has a long history that elevates traditional sports and athletes in unique ways and we are now excited to elevate exports for our consumers within the Foot Locker family,” said Andrew Gray, VP, and chief merchandising officer of the note chain.
Indeed, next May 18, Champs Sports will hold an in-store event in Times Square that will allow participants to challenge each team’s players and buy clothing. The event will, of course, be broadcast on Twitch.
Export also passes by initiatives like this.
