Apex Legends: 770,000 Cheaters Have Been Banned

Apex Legends 770,000 Cheaters Have Been Banned

Respawn Entertainment is showing that it really wants to be serious about the fight against cheaters, as can be seen from an update given by the same software house on the health of Apex Legends and on the efforts made to counter the cheaters that ruin the experience of play.

EA Security and Fraud, the Origin, Easy Anti-Chat and DICE team are working together to stem the problem, and other methods to combat cheaters are constantly coming, but the software house has no intention of revealing them, at least for the moment, in order not to give an advantage to those who will try to circumvent them.

Meanwhile, the number of banned players has reached a record 770,000 players, and a total of 300,000 attempts to create blocked accounts and 4,000 sellers of cheats blocked only in the last 20 days. “We take the cheating in Apex Legends extremely seriously, and we have a large number of resources to be able to counter it in different ways. It is a constant war with cheaters, which we will continue to fight” the post says, adding that an update will be coming next week.

What do you think of Respawn’s statements? How do you find the cheat situation in Apex Legends? Are the software house’s efforts paying off? Meanwhile, despite the criticism of Dr. Disrespect on Apex Legends, a major update is coming, as season 2 of Apex Legends will be unveiled at EA Play.
