Paradox Interactive has unveiled the first Vampire full-blood Vampire clan: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: Brujah! They are rebels and bullies who exalt brute force and celebrate the power of their bloodline.
Known as “Rabble” by the other Vampires, the Brujahs have never been a substantial part of the Seattle Kindred community. Many Brujahs in the city are scraps of Anarch’s failed movements and claim not to be affiliated with the Seattle political factions. The members of the Brujah clan gather in a “Bash”, better described as a fight club for the undead, where they affirm their physical superiority over the other clans.
The powers of the Brujahs are overwhelming as well as their beliefs. Players who join the Rabble can unlock two ancient disciplines that improve their physical abilities: Potence and Celerity. Potence is the distinctive Brujah discipline and imbues their undead bodies with the strength of Kindred – no one can underestimate the strength of the Brujahs. As Potence increases strength, Celerity increases the speed of the Brujahs, allowing them to hit faster, dodge faster and escape more agile than any deadly creature.
- Fist of Caine – A devastating punch that turns walls into rubble and throws enemies into the air. Fist of Cain upgrades further increase the devastating effects.
- Earthshock – Destroys the ground by a titanic force, creating a shockwave around the player that damages and kills anyone who dares to go too far. The Earthshock upgrade further unleashes the Brujah’s assault, damaging anyone who has been affected by the cataclysm.
- Unseen Storm – Allows you to move in any direction at high speed, disappearing momentarily from view, allowing you to attack, dodge enemies or move away before the dust has stabilized. Upgrades further enhance the effects of Unseen Storm.
- Accelerate – Allows you to move so fast that the surrounding world slows down. The attackers seem frozen in their attacks, the cars crawl forward, the bullets freeze and the vampire can perform acrobatics that, with an 80s song in the background, could create a fantastic movie scene. Upgrades further enhance the effects of Accelerate.
Also, if you use Potence or Celerity in front of a mortal, you will violate the rules of the Masquerade. Players who join the Brujah clan can use these disciplines in addition to the individual Thinblood powers.
