Saber Interactive, in partnership with Focus Home Interactive, announced the first phase of the World War Z post-launch content roadmap, the co-op shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film.
After celebrating more than 1 million units sold during the first week of launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC ( via Epic Games Store ), the World War Z team will offer new game modes, features and improvements month by month.
In May, a mission set in Tokyo will be available along with a terrifying type of zombie that spits a deadly virus and can come back to life if not properly killed. In June a new six-skull difficulty will be available with a unique reward, as well as cosmetic bonuses and more. In July, players will be able to discover the new Weekly Challenge mode, as well as cosmetics and other extras.
Other important updates, still under development for further free updates, include a wave-based survival mode, private lobbies, the possibility of changing classes during PvPvZ games, a field of view (FOV) and detail slider level on PC and more.
