A few hours after the launch of Fortnite Season 9 we learn of the dissolution of Polar Peak: last weekend the game map has undergone enormous changes with regard to Corso Commercio and Pinnacoli Pendenti, the eruption of the volcano has however also had effects on the snowy area.
According to some theories, the area could melt completely and from here will start Season 9 of Fortnite Battle Royale. As you will know, since the Season 7 some areas around Polar Peak have been inaccessible due to the ice, but the iceberg is slowly melting and the previously uninhabitable areas could now become new paths to explore.
We just have to wait to find out more, Fortnite Season 9 will begin tomorrow (Thursday 9 May) as opposed to the initial forecasts that had indicated the start for today. The new season will go on until August 1st while Season 2 should officially begin on August 2nd.
At the moment Epic has not revealed what we can expect during the next season, during the day today the company should publish a third teaser and officially announce the departure time of Fortnite Season 9.
