The catalog of backward compatible titles with Xbox One continues to grow. Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb communicated through his Twitter profile the two new entries accepted in the program of Backward Compatibility of the console of the giant of Redmond: From Dust and Costume Quest.
From Dust, described by Ubisoft as Populous’s spiritual heir, puts you in the shoes of a divinity who comes into contact with the forces of the nature of an archipelago with the intention of saving a nomadic tribe. You will then be able to manipulate the fire, water, ice and vegetation of the title setting. By communicating through the shaman of the tribe, you will know when you will have to intervene to be able to stem the impending natural disasters, such as tsunamis and volcanic eruptions. Back in 2012, Ubisoft confirmed that there would be no follow-up to this title from the intriguing game concept.
Costume Quest is an easy-going RPG developed by Double Fine Productions and released by THQ which takes place during Halloween night, when our protagonist, a little boy, is having fun with the traditional game “Dolcetto or Scherzetto”. Suddenly, a mysterious monster kidnaps our brother, and it will then be our task to save him. The title subsequently received a sequel, published in 2014.
As usual we remind you that if you already have the aforementioned titles you will find them included in your Xbox One library; otherwise, you can access the Xbox Store to buy them.
