Nintendo Switch Online Announced the Free Nes Games in May

The rumors of the weekend proved to be correct and today Nintendo has formalized the free NES games of May for subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online service.

From 15 May Donkey Kong Jr (sequel to the popular Donkey Kong), Clu Clu Land and Vs. Excitebike will be available, a version of the game initially released only in Japan with support for cooperative and competitive multiplayer.

To date, the NES games in the Switch Online library are as many as 40 , including Balloon Fight, Baseball, Donkey Kong, Double Dragon, Dr. Mario, Excitebike, Ghosts’n Goblins, Gradius, Ice Climber, Ice Hockey, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros, Pro Wrestling, River City Ransom, Soccer, Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Tecmo Bowl, Tennis and Yoshi.

For some time there has been talking of a possible arrival of Super Nintendo games in the Switch Online lineup, however, at the moment, the Kyoto house has not been biased in this regard, stating that the only platform currently supported is the NES.
