Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Will Have Similar Dimensions to the Basic Game

During the second episode of PlayStation State of Play, the trailer for Iceborne was shown, the first and great expansion of Monster Hunter World that will lead players to hunt for new monsters among the ice.

The Japanese company was clear from the beginning: it is a decidedly extended additional content, and this is already clear from the price, set at € 39.99 for the basic version and € 49.99 for the Digital Deluxe. It will include the single largest region that has ever appeared in the production, will introduce new gameplay mechanics, lots of new monsters, combos and elements for weapons, and an additional Rank for the difficulty, the Master.

A Capcom Senior PR has become unbalanced on Twitter stating that the amount of content will be comparable to that of the base game. “I am happy to confirm that the amount of content in the new Monster Hunter World expansion, Iceborne, will rival that of the base game! We have prepared a great expansion for all of you hunters!” , reads the tweet.

The Iceborne expansion will be launched on the console next September 9th (the launch date for PC has not yet been announced) and will require the basic game to work. Being set after the main adventure, it will be accessible only to hunters who have reached Grade 16. We take this opportunity to point out that Monster Hunter World can be tested for free on PS4 until May 20th.
