Despite the removal of the Duo mode and the consequent shower of criticism, the EA DICE guys confirm that they want to enrich the gaming experience of the Battlefield 5 Firestorm battle royale fans with the introduction of a whole new set of content with the next update.
The new free Battlefield 5 update will be available starting May 21st on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The highlight of the play offered by the Swedish developers will be the addition of three unpublished areas in the Fire Storm map.
The first of these, called Watchtowers , consists of a series of concrete observation towers built along the south-western coast, between Baldr’s Point and Guderos: their construction helps to re-evaluate the entire area, as the authors of EA DICE underline suggesting that this sector will be affected by further changes and changes over the coming months.
The second area, Blue Forest, is a forest area that has grown mysteriously after recent geological activities occurred west of the Halvoy quadrant dominated by the dam. The third and last modification to the map, Excavation Site, will give rise to a gigantic mining area in the mountainous area south-east of the quarry.
As for the gameplay novelties provided by Electronic Arts, the Battlefield 5 Firestorm May 21 update will take care to implement a new Tier Gold level for weapons, a category that includes several rifles and high-stepping guns that will be possible recover in the loot cases scattered around the Fire Storm map.
