Square Enix, Japan has announced that NieR Automata has reached four million units distributed, a figure that includes both physical copies and digital downloads made from PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam.
At 31 December 2018, the game had reached 3.5 million copies, 500,000 units were sold only in the first four months of 2019. NieR Automata was originally published at the beginning of 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC while in 2018 it arrived on Xbox One, finally in February 2019 Square Enix released NieR Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Everything is silent regarding a possible port for Nintendo Switch, no news even on the possible sequel, at the moment Platinum Games seems committed to other projects but nothing prevents the publisher from entrusting the works to a different study. Did you know? The Sekiro Automata mod allows you to play as 2B in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice!
