Thanks to the official license of the FIA World Rally Championship 2019 and its experience in eSports, the WRC series is about to return with simulation-focused gameplay, with new additions such as a dynamic climate and a completely revised career mode.
WRC 8 will also offer more content than ever with 102 special stages divided into the 14 countries hosting the competition, and a selection of historic cars that have left their mark in the glorious history of the WRC.
With the aim of refining the gameplay and driving sensations of the game, Bigben and Kylotonn invited some of the best players in the WRC eSport community to try, for the first time ever, an alpha version of WRC 8 . Physics, graphics, climate, level design, game modes … all the new features have been previewed so as to get direct feedback from the players. Two intense days of work that have led the developers to receive important reports for the physics of the game, which are added to those received by professional pilots.
“First impressions are really good. There is a real step forward compared to WRC 7 and Kylotonn is improving considerably in the quality of the products developed,” says Jonathan Jonno Holmes, 2017 Finalist of the WRC eSport tournament.
