Diablo III: Eternal Collection was one of the most successful games released on Nintendo Switch last year, and that started a collaboration between Blizzard and the Grande N that could continue in future.
At the moment the software house is preparing for the release of World of Warcraft Classic but does not seem to have forgotten its partnership with Nintendo. In fact, during a recent interview, Blizzard Entertainment president J. Allen Brack spoke of the possibility of new collaborations with Nintendo in the future. Here are his statements:
“It wouldn’t be weird, we’d like to. We look at Switch as another platform. It has unique properties that Xbox and Sony do not have. Thinking about which games make sense for that kind of console is something we will never stop doing. “
Brack then explained that it was a pleasure to work with Nintendo and that Blizzard is excited about Diablo’s achievements on Switch.
“We are super satisfied. Nintendo has been a great partner, we are fans of that platform, Nintendo fans, Nintendo IP fans, Switch fans. It is a really good platform and it’s fun to play with […] We’re happy that you liked Diablo, I loved it “.
What do you think of his statements? What other Blizzard properties would you like to see on Nintendo Switch?
