In the last hours, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One versions of Final Fantasy VII have been updated to solve an annoying problem with the sound sector.
In fact, many fans have complained about a bug that caused FF7 music to restart at the end of each fight, in some cases pushing fans to quit the game while waiting for a solution.
Here are all the details on the update in question:
- The music will now resume from the exact point where it stopped at the end of a battle
- Transitions between gameplay and movies no longer include a completely black frame
- Fixed an issue with the flashback scene, which was not accompanied by the correct music
In the meantime, it seems that the sound sector bug also affects the Switch and Xbox One versions of Final Fantasy IX, but at the moment we do not know the details about the arrival of a corrective patch for the title.
We remind you that Final Fantasy VII on Switch was the most downloaded game in March in Europe. Have you already seen the new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake shown during the last State of Play? As announced in recent months, FF7 Remake will have episodic structure and could also arrive on PlayStation 5.
