After unveiling Microsoft’s E3 2019 announcements, the Braldyr leaker confirmed that a Perfect Dark reboot is under development, however, this will not be developed by Rare but by an external team under the supervision of the English company.
The reboot will apparently be in the third person, the game is being developed at DLaLa Studios under the supervision of Rare, a situation similar to that which occurred for Battletoads. The source is certain to 100% of its declaration and confirms the existence of the project, however, the reboot of Perfect Dark will not appear at E3 2019 but will be shown only next year and then released on Xbox Scarlett in 2021, at the moment however nothing reported has been confirmed.
Rare should appear at E3 only to show new Sea of Thieves content, the English company would be working on a new IP for Xbox Scarlett, not yet ready to be shown. However, the existence of new Banjo-Kazooie and Conker games rumbled in recent days, was denied.
