PlayStation Is Not Covered by the Agreement Between Sony and Microsoft

Last week, surprisingly, Microsoft and Sony joined forces announcing a collaboration related to Cloud services, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and semiconductors, but apparently, this partnership will have no effect on the PlayStation brand.

According to reports from the financial newspaper Bloomberg, many employees of the Sony Interactive Entertainment Japanese division did not take the news of the agreement well enough that the management had to intervene on the issue, explaining how this collaboration will have no effects whatsoever on PlayStation and not will in no way change the plans for the launch and future of the PS5.

The negotiations seem to have begun in 2018, the agreements were taken between the executives of Sony Corporation and Microsoft Corp, leaving out any service related to the PlayStation ecosystem. It also seems that the Japanese company had also contacted Amazon for a partnership linked to Cloud Gaming, but without positive results.

According to other rumors, even Microsoft and Nintendo would ally to provide Cloud services on Switch and generally improve the network infrastructure linked to the platform.
