Dauntless: The New Patch Enables Cross-Play Between PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Finally released from its open beta phase, Dauntless is now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Epic Games Store). The development team of Phoenix Labs has simultaneously launched a new update of the hunting game with which some interesting features are added.

The most important news undoubtedly concerns the introduction of cross-play: from now on, PC users, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to play together without any limit whatsoever. In the future, the Nintendo Switch editions of the action game are also expected, and it is plausible to assume that all five platforms will be unified under the same online infrastructure, as happens for example with Epic Games’ Fortnite.

The 0.8.0 update is also useful to enrich the character creation system, to slightly modify the cost of using stamina, and to add the Earth element to those already present in the game. This is in addition to the already known changes announced in recent days, including the debut of the Mastery System, which explores the possibilities of customization of the character, and of the Hidden Blades event, arrived at the same time as Season 5.

We remind readers that Dauntless is now available as a definitive version on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
