Bandai Namco Entertainment and Supermassive Games are pleased to confirm that the first title of The Dark Pictures Anthology, Man of Medan, will be available from August 30, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Digital.
Man of Medan can be booked from today. At selected retailers, it will be possible to gain access from the launch day, as a pre-order bonus, to the Curator’s Cut, an alternative route with a new perspective.
Unlockable after completing the game at least once, the Curator’s Cut (which will be made available free to all players after the launch) will offer:
- A new perspective with alternative characters in the scenarios already played.
- New choices and decisions in every scene that can change history in different ways.
- New scenes and new secrets not included in the original experience.
“The Curator’s Cut is different from a classic Director’s Cut content as it gives the player many ways to directly influence the story and its outcome. Players will see and change events and reports from the point of view of the characters that were not under their own direct control in the first session of the game, “ said Pete Samuels, executive producer of Supermassive Games for The Dark Pictures Anthology. ” He adds a new level in the way the player understands the story and interacts with it in an unprecedented way, and we’re really happy to be able to offer it to the players”.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan will be available from August 30, 2019, in retail and digital for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will also be available for PC Digital. Man of Medan will be dubbed in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Russian.
