After the overwhelming success of Resident Evil 2 Remake, which to date has collected 4.2 million copies sold, Capcom’s survival horror saga is preparing to return protagonist with today’s debut of three historic chapters of the Nintendo Switch franchise.
Obviously, we are talking about Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 (the latter unfortunately lacking support for Switch’s motion control), each of which was brought to the large N hybrid console in a remastered version. The three films published by the Osaka company allow us to plunge briefly into the stories told by these illustrious exponents of the horror franchise, thanks to which we dressed as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in the first chapter, by Rebecca Chambers and Billy Cohen in the episode prequel, and of Leon Kennedy in the fourth iteration.
This could be an excellent opportunity to explore the past of the survival horror series, while we wait patiently for Capcom to unveil its continuation. Meanwhile, rumors have already suggested that the company is working behind the scenes at Resident Evil 8 and Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Leaving you to watch the trailers that you can see at the top and at the bottom of the news, let’s remember that Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 are now also available on Nintendo Switch.
