Overwatch Finally Adds Game Replays

Overwatch Finally Adds Game Replays

Good news for Overwatch fans, especially for those who were among those who loudly demanded the addition of game replays: Blizzard has in fact decided to include this function in today’s update, with a special patch.

For the moment the replays are only available in the Overwatch PTR but will be officially launched in two weeks, when it will be possible to automatically save up to ten replays for each player.

The appropriate Replay tab has been added to the profile, and from there it will be possible to see them. The operation is rather intuitive, the entire match will be recorded, which will then be possible to look through the perspective of any player, both in the first and third person, and you can change your point of view at any time. A fixed camera is also provided from above, to get a better idea of the game actions.

Of course, it will also be possible to slow down or speed up the movie. Replays, as mentioned, are currently available only on PCs via PTR, but the feature will also be made available on consoles after the test period.

What do you think? Are you happy with this introduction? If you would like to try the game, Overwatch is free until May 28, and in the Blizzard title the celebrations for Overwatch’s third anniversary are underway: find out more about it on our website.
