NVIDIA and Bethesda today announced that Wolfenstein Youngblood will include support for real-time ray tracing effects, NVIDIA Adaptive Shading and other advanced gaming technologies that will allow players to experience realism never seen before in-game images.
To celebrate the return of the Wolfenstein franchise, NVIDIA has launched a ” Born to Hunt ” package for GeForce RTX GPUs. For a limited time, players will receive Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which is scheduled for release July 26, with the purchase of a graphics card, desktop PC or laptop compatible with GeForce RTX 2080, 2080, 2070 or 2060 GPUs.
The ray tracing is an advanced graphical technique used to give the film the typical ultra-realistic visual effects. The NVIDIA GeForce GPU RTX contain specialized cores designed specifically to accelerate ray tracing so that the graphics effects in games can be viewed in real time.

NVIDIA Adaptive Shading is a new advanced shading technique that allows developers to improve performance and achieve a real-time visual fidelity previously impossible in the gaming world. By adjusting the speed with which the parts of the screen are shaded, the technology reduces the work of the GPU, increasing performance without disqualifying the image quality.
