Through the pages of the official EA Answers portal, Ben Walke of EA DICE confirmed the rumors of the last few days and announced that the next chapter of Need for Speed arcade racing series will be released in 2019.
According to the head of Electronic Arts, the team in charge of developing the new Need for Speed game that will celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the launch of the series prefers to focus on the project and avoid the limelight of E3 2019. The title, of consequently, it will not be officially presented during the EA Play event which will take place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on the night between 8 and 9 June.
As for the gaming experience promised by EA, the new NFS will continue to be faithful to the tradition of the saga: space therefore for the extreme processing and tuning of cars, as well as for road races centered on the clash between police officers and pilots inside of an urban context.
Despite the absence of gameplay video of the new Need for Speed during E3 2019, nothing prevents developers or even Ben Walke from taking advantage of the media showcase given by EA Play to reveal new details about the title and offer clarification on the window of indicative marketing on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
