GT Sport: The May Update Adds the Historic Goodwood Motor Circuit

As anticipated by Kazunori Yamauchi through his Twitter profile, the Japanese authors of Polyphony Digital confirm the addition of the historic English track of Goodwood Motor Circuit with the end-of-May update of Gran Turismo Sport.

The free update that brings the most important car simulator of the PlayStation 4 game library to version 1.39 will take us to the outskirts of Chichester, southern England, to devour the digital asphalt of one of the most famous circuits in the history of international competitions on four wheels.

The Goodwood track includes Chichester airport and offers an idyllic setting, unlike most other modern circuits. Between changes of slope and wide straights obtained from the old airstrip during the Second World War, the Goodwood Motor Circuit offers particular driving experience, thanks to the curves to face at medium and high speed and to the width of the track which offers more than one occasion to perform heart-pounding overtaking.

Along with the English circuit, the latest GT Sport update is taking care to introduce 11 new GT League rounds including Mini Challenges, Auto Nostalgic Festivals, Supra Legend, Super Formula Championships, Porsche Cup and F1500 Championship, in addition to the inevitable addition to the mode photographic with the collection of fictitious settings of Scapes enclosed in the “Choices by the Director II” . The Gran Turismo Sport update 1.39 will be available on PlayStation 4 starting tomorrow, Thursday 30 May: on these pages, you will find an in-depth discussion dedicated to rumors on Gran Turismo 7 for PS5.
