Samurai Shodown: A Demo Arrives in Japan on PS4 and Xbox One

While waiting for the official release, Samurai Shodown fans can finally get their hands on the game. Well, at least the Japanese fans, given that SNK announced the arrival of a demo of the videogame in Japan and Asia very soon.

Access is reserved for PlayStation 4 owners, but only for those subscribing to the PlayStation Plus service, and for Xbox One users, and will be available from May 31st until June 20th.

The trial version will include the playable characters of Yashamaru Kuruma, Haohmaru, and Naokoru, and the modes present will be Training Mode, VS Mode, and Tutorial Mode. As you can guess from the names, Training and Tutorials will help us to understand the game’s operation and gameplay in general, to then piss them mercilessly in the VS Mode.

The release date of Samurai Shodown is set for June 25 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (two days before the release in Japan and Asia), while for the PC and Nintendo Switch versions there will be a bit more waiting since they will arrive in the last quarter of 2019.

To learn more about the game, you can take a look at the last two Samurai Shodown trailers released by SNK in recent days. What do you think? What do you expect from the game?
