A few days ago we told you how much the release date of Cadence of Hyrule, the rhythm game that unites the worlds of The Legend of Zelda with the unique gameplay of Crypt of the Necrodancer, seemed close.
In fact, some data miners had found in the game code the possible release date of Cadence of Hyrule, which would have been set for May 30th, or today. Also being a Thursday, the day in which the Nintendo Switch shop is traditionally updated, the rumor also seemed to make sense.
Unfortunately, it seems that we will have to wait a few more days to get our hands on the video game, which was announced on a Nintendo Direct for “Spring 2019” and it seems that they want to make us sweat, given that the new release date could be June 20th.
At least that is what the data miners still say, who discovered that the date on the game code has been changed, and now the date of June 20 has appeared, so it was probably a simple placeholder.
Whatever it is, waiting for official announcements from Nintendo, for the moment we just have to wait. What do you expect from Cadence of Hyrule? Do you think that the union between the two franchises can generate a new videogame pearl?
Just checked again today, and it looks like the source code has changed to June 20, 2019. pic.twitter.com/zqp49Kl7D8
