The leaks from the Australian and Taiwanese rating boards are confirmed with the official announcement of the remastered version of Ghostbusters Videogame. The title will arrive at the end of the year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The project will be handled by the authors of Saber Interactive, recently involved in the multiplayer shooter World War Z, and the Mad Dog Games team behind Shaq-Fu’s “success”: A Legend Reborn.
The video presentation of Ghostbusters Videogame allows us to appreciate the interventions made by US developers to improve the graphics section of the 2009 cult title through a massive injection of high definition textures. In addition, all cinematic movies have been rebuilt to adapt to the current resolution standards ranging from Full-HD on Nintendo Switch and on the basic versions of PS4 and Xbox One to 4K on PC, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.
From the purely content point of view, the title will continue to offer the same experience as the original title which, we recall, centered around the deeds performed by a young recruit hired by the unlikely group of Ghostbusters made up of Ray, Peter, Egon, and Winston. We, therefore, look forward to hearing the definitive launch date of Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered and, in the meantime, we leave you in the company of spirits, goblins, and ghosts that linger undisturbed in the video presentation that awaits you at the beginning of the article.
