The sighting of a Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3 within the lists of some Asian retailers immediately prompted a series of speculations about a possible porting of the game.
As expected, the event triggered the spread of a large number of rumors, some of which even indicated the software house to work on the project. Candidates included Panic Button, a team that had previously handled the development of other ports for the Kyoto House hybrid console. Among these we can, for example, cite Doom, or Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus.
Apparently, however, users who were hoping for this option must prepare to receive bad news. As reported also by Nintendo Soup, a representative of the same Panic Button has in fact denied these rumors, denying, through a post on Reddit, that the software house is currently working on a Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3.
The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt has been a great success with the public and critics for CD Projekt RED, which is currently engaged in the realization of the expected Cyberpunk 2077 and in the preparation of its presence for the upcoming 2019 edition of E3.
