Beyond the Wall Announced, VR Experience Based on Game of Thrones

If you have already entered abstinence about a week and a half after the much-discussed conclusion of Game of Thrones, you will be pleased to learn of the announcement of a new experience in Virtual Reality based on the famous HBO television series.

Beyond the Wall will take players to the lands of the Eternal Winter beyond the boundaries of the Barrier, the imposing city wall with which the seven kingdoms of Westeros have protected themselves for centuries from the wild North where the menace of the strangers hovers. In this context, the protagonist’s task will be to arm himself with a fiery sword and battle an army of undead and polar bears (also called “undead”).

The development of the project was entrusted to Framestore, a British company with two Academy Awards for special effects and already accustomed to the development of experience in Virtual Realà (it are in fact Ascend the Wall and The Dead Must Die, always focused on Game of Thrones ).

Beyond the Wall will be published today, Friday 31 May exclusively in the catalog of Viveport Infinity, a subscription service available for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR devices that gives you access to more than 500 games and applications. Unfortunately, the game is currently scheduled only in the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, UK, and Canada. Before seeing the title in the Belpaese, it will probably be necessary to wait until some IP-related issues are first addressed and resolved.
