After almost four of silence, Final Fantasy 7 Remake returned to show itself with a trailer at the PlayStation State of Play at the end of which exclusively the PS4 logo stood out.
This is not surprising that much since it is known since the announcement that the title will be a temporal exclusivity for the console of the Japanese house. In fact, in the E3 2015 trailer, the words “Play it first on PlayStation 4” appeared. And yet, just days before the start of E3 2019, Final Fantasy 7 Remake in the Xbox One version appeared in the list of GameStop Ireland.
Why? That Sony has lost its temporal exclusivity? In the State of Play trailer, although there was only the PS4 logo, there were no references to the early arrival on the Sony console, as in the case of the four-year-old ad trailer. Voices in this sense, moreover, have been around for quite some time now, although they have never been confirmed.
We would like to clarify, in any case, that these are simple doubts born after the appearance of the Xbox One in the lists of GameStop Ireland. Officially, Final Fantasy 7 Remake continues to be awaited exclusively on PlayStation 4.
