For days the managers of the official Google Stadia page are having fun teasing the curiosity of fans eager to discover new information on the platform. It all started last May 24, when they confirmed the arrival of information on price, launch date and game line-up during the summer.
The next two updates were much more cryptic: first, the ” Presto” message appeared, created with emoticons in the shape of a controller, then a cute little animal with a sign saying “The wait is almost over”. Everything, in short, suggests the imminent arrival of a new presentation dedicated to the streaming gaming service of the Mountain View giant.
According to journalist Liam Robertson, this infamous event will start soon, at 6:00 pm on Thursday 6 June. Apparently, it could be focused entirely on the line-up of games, which is one of the three topics for which a deepening in the tweet of last May 24 was promised. Robertson made no mention of the possible announcement of the price and launch date, but stated that Baldur’s Gate III could be among the games coming in for Google Stadia! And here other speculations begin … The title in question has not yet been officially announced. All we have, for the moment, is the Roman numeral III that stands on the official site of Larian Studios. Some users, however, have analyzed the code of the web page finding clear references to Baldur’s Gate 3…
Is this really the title to which the Belgian boys of Larian Studios are at work? Who chose the Google Stadia event – not yet officially confirmed – to reveal it to the world? We’ll find out in a few days.
