Pokémon Go Will Stop Supporting Apple Watch From July 1st

Niantic has announced the interruption of support for Apple Watch by Pokémon GO. Starting July 1, 2019, coaches using the bitten apple device will no longer be able to connect it to the game in augmented reality.

The reason is very simple: the introduction of the Synchro-adventure mode, which allows you to keep track of steps, gain candy and open the Eggs even with the smartphone on standby, has essentially rendered the use of an additional device useless. Niantic said: “We want to focus on the development of synchro-adventure so that coaches no longer have to use two devices to play” Reasons, in our opinion, more than acceptable.

We take the opportunity to update you on the latest news from the world of monsters. On June 4, the Adventure Week will kick off, featuring Rock-type wild Pokémon such as Geodude, Rhyhorn, Omanyte, Aron, Lileep and Anorith. It will also be an excellent opportunity to discover new Chromatic Pokémon. Until tomorrow 3 June the Snorlax event will be active, while until June 18 you can face Cresselia in Raid battles. Some clues found by data miners, however, suggest the arrival of Jirachi’s special research.
