Halo Infinite: New Rumors About Cross-Gen Output on PC, Xbox One and Scarlett

Brad Sams, the insider who had managed to anticipate the announcement of the Elite controller and the hardware architecture of Project Scorpio (Xbox One X), offers us important advances on one of the most anticipated projects of the Microsoft conference at E3 2019, that is Halo Infinite.

Based on the information gathered by the well-known journalist from Thurrott, invariably drawing on his anonymous sources linked to the Redmond house, it would appear that during the Los Angeles show we will see a demo of Halo Infinite run on a high-end PC with a controller Xbox not better specified, also feeding here the previous rumours on the announcement of the new series of the Xbox One Elite controller.

The choice of showing Halo Infinite on a similar hardware configuration rather than on Xbox One X would be dictated by the need for the leaders of the Xbox division of Microsoft, to propose a preview of the Xbox version Scarlett ‘s sci-fi blockbuster of 343 Industries. The costly cross-gen development, on the other hand, could somehow justify the $500 million budget that, according to pre-E3 rumours, would have been allocated by the US technology giant to develop this title both on PC and on Xbox One and Xbox Scarlett, presumably at the launch of the next-gen console.
