As promised last night on the stage of the Ubisoft conference at E3 2019, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has just updated with all the contents of the new expansion of Year 4: Operation Phantom Sight.
For the uninitiated, the main novelties of this season are three: the two new specialists and the revised and corrected version of the famous map entitled Café Dostoevskij. As for the playable characters, we know that Warden is an elderly operator who can see through the effects of flashbangs and smoke grenades and is, therefore, a perfect counter for characters like Ying. Nokk, on the other hand, is equipped with a particular device that can hide it from enemy eyes, which will make it the perfect character for those who love stealth action and want to seize the enemy from behind.
As always, the new operators can be used today only by the owners of the Season 4 Pass, while all the others will have to wait until next Tuesday, June 18, 2019, to be able to buy them in the game store through the fame points obtained by playing. The rework of the map, on the other hand, is available from today for all game owners.
Did you know that R6 Siege will never switch to F2P? During the conference Ubisoft has also announced the new Rainbow Six Quarantine, a cooperative 3-player shooter probably based on R6 Siege’s Outbreak mode.
With Operation Phantom Sight going live later today, here are the additional changes we have made to the upcoming season from the last 3 weeks of the Test Server.
