During the Square Enix E3 conference, the return of Romancing SaGa 3, the classic JRPG from the SNES era, was announced. An HD remaster version for consoles and mobile devices is also arriving in the West.
But this is not the only chapter coming up regarding the famous saga (forgive the game of aprole), since the new title, SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, which is currently in development for Europe and North America, has been announced.
Romancing SaGa 3, developed by Akitoshi Kawazu and other industry veterans, was released in Japan in 1995. This HD remaster introduces optimized graphics, new dungeons to explore, new scenarios and the New Game + function.
SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is instead an improved version of SaGa Scarlet Grace, released in Japan in 2016 and never arrived in the West , so this is the first time that European and North American fans of the game can put their hand to the title, in which you can choose between four protagonists, each with a different storyline.
Romancing Saga 3 will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PS Vita, Xbox One, and PC, as well as SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, with the difference that for the latter there is no PS Vita version.
