Although the pre-E3 conferences ended after last night’s Nintendo Direct E3, it doesn’t mean that the announcement time is over, indeed, the week of the Los Angeles event is always full of news, and Square Enix knows it well.
The publisher has indeed announced the Dragon Quest XI S Loto Edition, a version of Nintendo Switch dedicated to Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of a Lost Era, on the occasion of the Definitive Edition, announced for the console of the Great N.
The bundle will be released on September 27, the game’s release date, and for the price of just under 40 thousand yen (about 325 euros) contains:
- Nintendo Switch and custom dock
- Joy-Con theme
- Joy-With grip
- AC adapter
- HDMI cable
- Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of a Lost Era – Definitive Edition Gorgeous Edition
- The physical copy of the game
- DLC Voice Drama
- Set Kingdom of Trodain
- Wild Boar Set
- Set Happy Adventurer
For those not interested in the Switch itself, it will be possible to purchase the Definitive Edition on its own, and Square Enix will also release a Super Gorgeous Edition, which will include everything included in the Gorgeous Edition, plus a “Gorgeous Electronic Notepad: Adventurer’s Log”, a sort of diary, and the script of the DLC Voice Drama, in B8 format with 288 pages.
By purchasing the standard edition of the game it will be possible to buy the DLC Voice Drama also individually. This is a voice/text add-on not present in the main story.
Finally, Square Enix has announced a live stream for today at 2 pm (GMT +2), in which the above announcements will be summarized and a demo of the game will be shown, and maybe even some information on a possible landing of such contents also on our Continent.
