Rockstar Games announced that during the summer it will release the acclaimed soundtrack of Red Dead Redemption 2, which will be divided into two separate compilations for the occasion.
The premiere, The Music Of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack, will be published in a digital edition on July 12 and is already pre-orderable on iTunes. It is described by the company as a collection of vocal tracks and will contain all the original songs written specifically for the game by artists such as Willie Nelson, D’Angelo, Rhiannon Giddens, Rocco DeLuca, David Ferguson, and Daniel Lanois. It is already possible to listen to two excerpts: Crash of Worlds by DeLuca and Table Top by Lanois (both found at the bottom of this news and on Spotify).
The second compilation, The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Score, will arrive later in the summer and will contain the background music composed by Woody Jackson that accompanied Arthur Morgan’s journey into the wild west. The quality of the soundtrack of Red Dead Redemption 2, in addition to the players, was also recognized at the Game Awards 2018, where it won the awards for Best Musical Accompaniment and Best Audio Design. The title, we remember, is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We are still waiting for information on the possible Red Redemption 2 for PC.
