Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: Respawn Discusses Longevity and Difficulty

During the streaming of E3 2019 Coliseum, Vince Zampella and Stig Asmussen of Respawn Entertainment wanted to respond to criticisms made by those who, rightly or not, considered “too easy” the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order game experience glimpsed in the first title gameplay.

After discussing the origins of the Jedi Fallen Order project and reiterating that the game will not be open world, the Respawn boss and the lead developer of the new Star Wars signed action adventure EA explained that the demo version admired during E3, as often happens on these occasions, it offered a deliberately low level of difficulty to focus the users’ attention on Cal Kestis’s abilities, on the graphics section and on the variety of game situations that can be experienced throughout history.

In fact, both Asmussen and Zampella agree in considering Jedi Fallen Order a rather difficult video game, although not as difficult as Dark Souls or Sekiro can be. As for longevity, the two Respawn personalities then explained that, without offering an estimate of the hours needed to complete all the main tasks and missions, the Cal Kestis adventure will be able to keep us busy for a sufficient number of hours and is not meant to be enjoyed with short 5-hour games.
