The “Style” in Cyberpunk 2077 Told by Two New CD Projekt Red Artwork

Among the great productions that have attracted public attention at E3 2019, we certainly find Cyberpunk 2077, a new videogame creation by the authors of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

During the Los Angeles fair, the CD Projekt Red team in fact finally showed a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, with which, in addition to the unexpected participation in the project of the actor Keanu Reeves, the much-coveted publication date was also revealed. of the game, now officially scheduled for April 16th, 2020.

Although the Los Angeles fair has now ended, it seems that the development team still has a desire to provide the videogame community with some further details on the game world. Over the last few days, some interesting artwork has been published, presenting the gangs of Night City, the futuristic city that serves as the setting for the game. Now, two new images are shown to us via the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account. As you can see at the bottom of this news, each of these is accompanied by a brief slogan and a sort of caption:

  • Necessity over Style: “The look of poverty that descends from humans struggling with and struggling with technology and its inexorable progress. Denotes an absence of design merged with a general lack of means and ideas”.
  • Style over Substance: “The look of a golden age now long lost on people entirely reluctant or unable to forget it. It is flamboyant, bold and generally inexpensive – full of gold-plated cyberware, plants set in brightly colored plastics and incredible makeup”.

What do you think, are you intrigued by this strange world created by the minds of CD Projekt Red?
